Wisconsin state regulations stipulate that records revealing public actions for example court documents, arrest records, marriage licenses, vehicular violations and more are open and available to the public, largely as a result of the Wisconsin Open Records Law, which recognized its centennial anniversary in 2017. All relevant information about the numerous happenings of police officers, city courts, and local government are contained in these records, and generally are presumed public unless legally redacted.
