Wisconsin state guidelines stipulate that records recording municipal actions for example court documents, arrest records, marriage licenses, traffic violations and more are open and available to the public, largely as a result of the Wisconsin Open Records Law, which recognized its centennial anniversary in 2017. All significant facts about the many happenings of police officers, local courts, and local government are contained in these records, and generally are believed public unless legally redacted. Both administrators and offenders can be held accountable for their behaviour because of these laws, which provide the citizenry with the tools they require to study concerns outside of their authorities.
