Due to the U.S. Freedom of Information Act, information such as court documents, arrest records, marriage certificates, and more are all readily available for the population to locate, investigate, and collect, and New Jerseyans are no different with thanks to the Oregon Public Records Law. All applicable information about the various happenings of law enforcement officials, municipal courts, and local government are incorporated into these records, and are assumed public unless legally redacted. People of Odell have the ability to better understand their rights because of these laws, and the transparency offered by the release of these records maintains both criminals and authorities responsible for their actions, in turn leading to a more open and free society for all.
