Oregon state regulations determine that records documenting municipal decisions for example court documents, arrest records, marriage certificates, traffic infractions and more are open and offered to the general public, largely because of the Oregon Public Records Law. All significant information about the many happenings of law enforcement officials, local courts, and local government are found in these records, and are presumed public unless formally redacted.
