Oklahoma state guidelines determine that records recording public decisions such as court documents, arrest records, marriage licenses, traffic transgressions and more are open and offered to the public, largely as a result of the Oklahoma Open Records Act. All pertinent facts about the multitude of happenings of police officers, city and county courts, and local government are incorporated into these records, and generally are believed public unless officially redacted.
