Most states in the union retain records on court papers, vehicular traffic transgressions, marriage and divorce certificates, property and lien records, and much more, and thanks to the 1963 Ohio Open Records Law this data are offered to the public. All applicable information on the multitude of happenings of police officers, municipal courts, and local government are found in these records, and are deemed public unless officially redacted.
