North Dakota’s Open Records Statute assures its locals the ability to find, acquire, and utilize records kept by authorities, including arrest records, court public records, marriage and divorce certificates, and records of traffic infractions, and this right extends to the residents of Hunter. These records contain titles, times, information on events, sentences, processes and much more, and are also all assumed public unless otherwise stated. Hunters law enforcement and criminals both are held accountable because of the openness offered with this regulation, making Hunter, and by proxy the united states, a more free and open society.
