Most states in the union retain records on court documents, vehicular traffic transgressions, marriage and divorce certificates, property and lien records, and much more, and due to the Georgia Open Records Act this data are offered to the public. All pertinent information about the many happenings of authorities, city courts, and local government are within these records, and generally are presumed public unless legally redacted. Lookout Mountains law enforcement and criminals are both held accountable because of the transparency given by this regulation, making Lookout Mountain, and by extension the united states, an even more free and open society.
